First off - this book is overtly sexual. Like over the top beyond fifty shades
I really struggled to get through the first half if the book, mostly due to the FMC's inner depreciating monolog. Once the plot starred to thicken, it sucked me right it! And HOLY ENDING.

Only reason it took me so long to read was because I had to finish two other books first. Read 3/4 of it last night to finish.
I was really concerned because so much was happening so fast, and that it might end in a standard happily ever after.
Spoiler alert. It doesn’t.
One of the only times I’ve ever been ok with a “did it really happen?” scenario.
Very witty, loved the dialogue as well as the inner thoughts. Great support characters, some high highs and low lows.
James might be my favorite love interest that I’ve read so far (approx. 60 books).

I wasn't enjoying the book and was debating DNFing it. Decided to read some reviews because I saw it was pretty highly rated, and accidentally read spoilers for the ending. Not too mad about the spoilers because they confirmed it's not something I care that much to continue.
