I did give this five stars, but it’s more of a 4 1/2. Without the epilogue it would definitely be five stars. The epilogue somewhat ruined the book for me. Even though it would’ve been a really sad ending without the epilogue, I would’ve preferred it. For me that still would’ve been a sort of happily ever after even though it was a sad one. I got really emotional and it made me cry and then I turned the page and started reading the epilogue and it just ruined how beautiful yet sad I thought the ending was.

This book. This freaking book surprised me in both the best, and worst ways possible. I’ll admit, I went into this story not having read any reviews beforehand and now that I’ve finished it, I’m SO HAPPY I did. The only thing I knew going in was that the main Character, Olivia was spending the summer in Paris to escape her haunting past. I had no idea what to expect and I highly recommend you do the same if you decide to give this book a shot.
The intense Romance had me feeling ALL the feelings, the many many MANY plot twists gave me whiplash, and the storyline itself broke me into a million pieces more than once, and also put me back together.. more than once.
I gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the pure intensity I was able to feel while reading this story. I loved this book and highly recommend!
