Wow! Steamy romance novel, coupled with some exciting twists that I didn't see coming At. All. Sexy, suspenseful, sad, and all the other feels. A great read!

adored it

I sobbed. In the best way. Just read it. Especially if you like not knowing what’s coming. My brain is numb and I just know I’ll be thinking about this book for years.

What a wild ride! This book gives you ALL the feels. And when you think you have it figured out….. you absolutely do not! Such a wonderful read. I finished it in one sitting.

I… So… Well… And then… Yeah… I got nothing. Seriously. NOTHING. I’m too busy still picking my jaw off of the floor because this story just blew my ever loving mind! I can’t even. I don’t even know where to begin to review this book. How do I even tell you about what I just read if even I’M still figuring it out. My brain needs to phone a friend or poll the audience. Sweet baby jesus I don’t know what is happening!!!
Man oh man, I don’t even know where to start with this story. I will definitely advise you to avoid reviews until you read it, because there’s so much about this story that’s a HUGE spoiler. I won’t give you any hints in terms of what that spoiler is, but let me tell you, it’s seriously HUGE. Like mind blowingly huge. Like questioning everything you thought you knew huge. All I know is I spent an entire ten minutes after I finished with my jaw on the floor and my mind reeling. This story was a unique and unexpected surprise from someone that’s become an absolute must read author for me. I cannot recommend this one enough!

Slow start for me personally but this book deserves your attention. Nobody does third act like JT Geissinger!

The first 40% of this book was solid 4+ ⭐️, but there is a twist that comes completely out of left field that and then another turn that really felt like surprise for surprise sakes and not true to the plot. But in general the chemistry between our fmc and mmc was off the charts and quick to develop and I had a general fun time!

4.5 Mind-bending, Kindle-melting, Kindle-throwing stars

Romance is predictable, romance can’t surprise you, it is one note; these are just some misconceptions that die a painful death every time a brilliant writer like JT Geissinger writes a stunner of a book like Perfect Strangers. Romance novels have proved time and time again that they can propel you out of your comfort zone and make you learn, think, and feel things you never thought you were capable of. And this book does all of the above and more. It’s a gigantic, complicated clusterfudge of events, impressions, and emotions.

At least I went through every imaginable emotion on the spectrum. Yes, including the negative ones. There was some serious swearing and almost kindle throwing that occurred. There was also some incredulous laughter. Because it wasn’t all fun and games and lavender fields the whole time. Comfort zone remember? Aside from my wildly see-sawing opinions, or as evident from them, this book is one heck of a cleverly crafted and smartly written story, snappily paced and finely layered. You see one thing on the surface, but there’s untold depths to plumb and multiple facets to explore. Till the very last page.

And I can’t really talk about any of it because, spoilers. Which are basically anathema for this book. Go in blind as a sub with a silk blindfold on. Yes, my mind is in the gutter because the author put it there with her delightfully filthy hero and scandalously hot sexy times. One thing I can tell you is that James is one of the most perfect men created (this author has a talent for those) and Olivia is as uniquely relatable as most of her heroines, and they both have chemistry for days. Also don’t trust anything you read in my review, because nothing is as it seems, just go read it for yourself.
