i libri della larsson mi stanno piacendo davvero tanto, avevo già letto il primo libro nella serie e posso dire che questo secondo volume è al pari del primo. scrittura scorrevole, descrizioni dettagliate, tanta natura svedese e cani

I feel so annoyed by this book. Somehow the story was interesting and I was really enjoying it as I always love Swedish thrillers. However, the moment Lisa decides to kill her dogs taking them to the vet I got so angry I just wanted to throw the book away and I wasn't even interested in the ending. How could a person that claims that she only understands her dogs and that they are her family kill them like someone who is burning some old journals? What kind of vet accepts such a job without even making questions? Maybe it is really stupid to judge a book only by that but I felt offended by the book somehow.

I can't say that I liked this book that much. I was looking into Swedish thrillers that were renowned/acclaimed/award winning/excellent and this one came up. What I didn't know by any means, is that it was the second of a sort of series about the same character.

The book seemed really limp and slow moving, and the main character was just.... ghastly. There were a lot of "memories" and throw backs to the previous book, which I'm sure made sense to others who read it, but made little sense to me.

It was slow paced, uninteresting, I would not recommend this to another.

I love the character (Rebecka Martinsson) and the setting in Swedish Lapland, and the way Larsson has the location and the animals (Yellow Legs) mirror the personality and experience of Martinsson. The title comes from Isaiah 26:21, which Larsson provides as an epigraph.

La scrittura e lo svolgimento della trama sono molto confusi, e se non fosse per questa confusione il finale sarebbe abbastanza telefonato. Lascia veramente poco.
