I never know how to rate graphic novels. I enjoyed the story premise but thought that the actual story line was...the opposite of info- dumpy?? I know there are more in this series but I felt like we were given a lot to ponder but no solid answer. I’m not convinced I wanna read the rest, but I do appreciate the Trans rep since it seems to be so few and far between.

5 Stars

God, I can't believe it took me so long to read this wonderful graphic novel. I loved everything about it, and can't wait for the sequel! Probably my favourite read of the month.

EDIT: Just realised chapters 5&6 are already available online...now the question is, do I wait for the physical copy, my preferred way of reading comics, or binge the rest of the story sometime next week? Decisions, decisions!

I got this in an Owlcrate box and I do not think I ever would have read it otherwise. This graphic novel had a great premise and I loved the characters but the story itself left much to be desired and I really didn't like the art style. Because I didn't like the art, I struggled with the rest of the story. Plus this is an incomplete comic/novel. You are left having no idea what happens.

Loved the artwork in this. Characters are pretty lovable and easy to get to know, as well. The plot is a little wandering, but, that made more sense when I realized this is a volume one, and not a stand alone. I'd definitely like to learn more.

The art and world building of this graphic novel are gorgeous. All the characters are super interesting and I can’t wait to get to know them better in volume 2.
