"Witchy" has a unique art style that sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. Half the time, I couldn't tell what was being conveyed during certain cells. One instance is when a spell on our MC is broken. The cell for this appears like hair being cut with a random 'shink' sound. Then her hair is long. So while the spell was cutting the magic, but it looked like cutting hair, which is significant to the plot in different ways.
This isn't a complete story, which I was expecting. The MC was a bit whiny and really did very little to advance the plot. Overall, I was hoping for more. Maybe the next chapter will bring out the characters more, but everything fell a bit flat for me. Its a lovely and colorful graphic novel that ends up accomplishing very little in characterization or world building. Though I will say, this is a very talented author at the cusp of a fun, imaginative realm.

This was actually pretty decent. The story is odd, but original and interesting.
The art isn't all that great, but I love banana and will keep reading, because I think this book is setting up for an interesting series.

The plot was all over the place. I wanted to like this, I really did. But I forced myself to finish it. And that ending? It's just not my kind of book.
