The cover art is beautiful! The inside art is different. This came in my Owlcrate subscription box. Although I love graphic novels, this wouldn't have been a personal pick.

It was alright. This is the first in the series (although there's no indication on the cover, why does that happen so often) also I think this is a web comic, so this first volume didn't have much of a narrative arc (it did have an *exciting thing* happen, which kind of serves as a climax here, but is probably just a cataclysmic action for the narrative as a whole.) The magic system is a bit shakey.
The characterization is ok. There are character profiles in the back, and I learned new things about the characters, even though I shouldn't have.
The art is pretty good. The coloring is nice. The art style changes gradually. Not that that's bad, it's just a funny thing to notice.
I will definitely be reading the next part if/when it comes out (or is it already out?).

I didn’t like the art style at the beginning but either I adjusted or it got better and the plot and world really drew me in. Can’t wait for the next bind up!
