Don’t read graphic novels that much, but this one intrigued me and damn it was good!!

Interesting concept. I loved the world and art, though it took me a moment to understand how hair functions (namely, that it doesn't grow beyond a certain length or grow back, it seems). Looking forward to reading more of it.

Pretty and entertaining!

This first volume of Witchy leaves me aching for more of protagonist Nyneve's journey. The art is enjoyable with gorgeous textless pages that tug at the heartstrings and make me want to venture to this world.

This was an interesting graphic novel but it feels incomplete. I don’t feel like the end was wrapped up at a good stopping point. It’s clear that the intention was to set the reader up for the second volume but it felt like an awkward place to end. I also wasn’t as intrigued as I thought I’d be.

The fantasy in this book is just *chef’s kiss* so good! Nyneve is a nice protagonist b/c she’s so curious, which lets the reader have a really organic entry point into the world building. The background characters all carry a lot of personality and helped ground the fantastic really well! Strongly recommended!
