I really liked this graphic novel and the magic system behind it. It was such an intressting concept and I am really looking forward to carrying on with it.

My Rating : 4

I liked the art style for this one but not much else, sadly.

This was a fun, quick read that I adored! I can wait to read more of this series!! (I'm hoping it's a series!!)

Hi, I couldn't sleep and so decided to read the copy of "Witchy" that was part of a recent OwlCrate and it's,,, fantastic???
Like a combination of Amulet, Nimona, and Motherland: Fort Salem featuring a biracial protagonist who lost her father to government fearmongering as a young child and has subsequently hidden the true breadth of her power, but she may not be able to hide forever considering conscription for the witch army is soon arriving and being conscripted will not only out her as far more powerful than she's ever let on, but brand her a risk and enemy of the government

3.5 maybe 4 stars
I really liked the diversity in this novel, the art work it's amazing
Witchy had a lot of potential, looking forward to see how the story developes

I loved that this had a unique plot. The story was well written and pulls you in immediately. I also appreciated the diverse cast. There were varying body types, different sexualities, a transgender girl—and, for the most part, all of it was treated as completely normal and accepted. I’m happy to see that kind of representation.

My daughter loved this graphic novel. She read it in 30 minutes. Will there be another one? Fingers crossed
