CWs; violence, transphobia, grief, parent death.

I really enjoyed this.

The author described it as a "comic about queer asian witches, strange birds and cool mums". I think that describes it perfectly.

A really lovely graphic novel. The art is lovely and the world is colorful and beautiful to look at. I loved Nyneve, and I think that having her be haunted by grief and making bad decisions out of her trauma was really moving and wonderful to read. I also liked that this series just set in a queer world, which I always adore. An overall fun read, I'm excited to see where it goes.

From what I understand, this is part of an ongoing webseries, so it's not like this is the end, but I can't help feel that the ending of this book was a little awkward. I don't know where that cut off point could have been, but it just felt very abrupt.

Very interesting world. I think it’s tough to rate graphic novels the same as you would a regular book. The character wasn’t explored I. The same way so it was hard to connect to Nyneve and understand her. It felt rushed when it seemed it should have more time to explain the background of things.

This was so good!! The art was beautiful. I really hope a sequel is released in print form because I *need* that in my life!!
