This started out pretty good, then had some WTF moments… I did the audio book, I didnt really like the male dialog spoken by the female narrator - but that seems to be a common theme for me. Not all audio books are created equal lol. It was a decent start to a series, ive heard book 2 is better so looking forward to that.

I loved Ana (FMC), her brother and her friends! I am not too sure how I feel about Alex (MMC). He did do some groveling (like a lot) so I am happy about that part.
This was a definitely a dark romance. So it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I didn’t expect it to be that when I started but it definitely had some dark elements (betrayal, murder, stalking)

this book was everything and more and i did not want to put it down.
I am so torn between absolutely loving this book and having some reservations! Great writing, absolutely entrapped me in the story and the absolute steam between them. I finished the book in just a couple days. I completely shipped Alex and Ava, but some of Alex's behavior was sketch and borderline stalker/harassment. Don't get me wrong I wanted a happy ever after the whole book for them but there were just some things where I was like Alex stop gross. Aside from that I loved this book though!
