This is a great book and kept me engaged the whole time. I wanted to keep reading. I loved Tucker and Miranda together. The murder mystery part of the plot was just okay, but it did not take away from the romance of the story so it was fine! A pet peeve in this book was often the author used the word “softly.” His eyes softened, his face softened, he spoke softly. It was very overused and it got annoying.
Life threw Miranda a curveball and now she navigates it as a single parent. When she meets Tucker a sexy, recently single detective she isn't sure if love is on the table for her anymore. This love story between these two was beautiful and spicy. The hesitations Miranda has is calmed by Tucker's words, and actions. The dirty words this man speaks is fire. Their relationship does come with challenges, and I love how they lean on each other to overcome them. This story has a HEA and no third act break up that I loved. Enjoy!

This was a sweet HEA with a bit of drama throughout the plot but no crazy stunts or major disasters between the main characters, which I really liked that. The way the main characters meet are unconventional to say the least but very happy they found one another. The drama throughout the plot added interest to the overall story but did not over power the sweet love story. Overall, I would recommend for a quick sweet read with a few spicy scenes.

Before We Fall hooked me from almost the first page, where it opens almost as one of those reddit stories. Miranda discovers that her husband is cheating when she goes to use his computer to look up a recipe and his text messages show up on the computer and track his affair. Tucker is the other betrayed spouse, whom we met in Until Willow. I loved everything about this book - it's a mix of many things at once, heartfelt, emotional, angsty, steamy and sweet! I loved all the characters we meet along the way, not just Miranda and Tucker, and Miranda's son Kingston, but also Miranda's best friend and Tucker's brothers. I can't wait now to read more from this world and hope that each of these characters get their own book at some point!
Amazing! 5 stars to the author!
Before We Fall was an amazing story and spins off of the Until series. I haven’t read all of the Until series, but I was excited to get to revisit some of the characters. This was Tucker and Miranda’s story.
When Miranda discovered her husband was cheating on her with the wife of his co-worker, her heart was broken. After getting divorced the last man she needs to be around is Tucker Beckett. But fate keeps pushing them together.
The connection between them was strong and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved watching Miranda and Tucker’s relationship slowly develop. They were perfect for each other. Miranda was such a great mom and seeing Tucker falling for her and her son was beautiful. He was so protective of them and so sweet.
I really loved this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. It was full of so many emotions and was a beautiful second-chance romance. This author has become one of my favorites and I cannot wait for the next book.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love everything Aurora Rose Reynolds writes and this book is no exception. It's even, I think, in my top three.
This book was so damn good !!
Miranda is married (see how I didn't say happily married ?). Turns out her husband is cheating, so she plans to leave him and meets Tucker, who's married to the woman Miranda's husband is cheating on her with. And newly divorced Miranda starts seeing HOT detective Tucker.
The story follows their journey, overcoming their exes attempts to splitting them and beginning a new healthy relationship when they met because of their exes.
Tucker. Is. Daddy.
His relationship with Miranda's son is priceless. He is protective, tender, sweet, patient,...
It was a real pleasure to get his story. I live the men from this apartment complex and was very happy to see them again.
Can't wait for more stories and BOOM moments.
