You know a book is good when you get to the end and you don’t want to end. This book was so gut wrenching and heart warming at the same time. The story is heavy and sometimes dark, but it reinforces the underlying message that even in the darkest of times there is and will be light. I love all of the different relationships in this story. Tucker and Kingston’s relationship is just the cutest thing ever. There’s also a murder mystery going on simultaneously with the romance which was really interesting. I really enjoyed the supporting characters too and can’t wait to read all of their stories!

3.5⭐️ loved the premise which is what made me pick it up in the first place but it should’ve been 100-200 pages longer. The pacing was sooooo fast and felt rushed especially toward the end. Fun and easy read with no third act break up like the couple was adorable from like page 2 but I wished some things were flushed out more! Overall I’d recommend if you want something light and easy to fly through in a day!

Had so much potential. Could have leaned into the suspense aspect so much more with the murder. Literally no drama in the book at all

I loved Tucker and Miranda's story, just like the other books by Aurora Rose Reynolds.
I met Tucker first in Clay's and Willow Mayson's story, and I was hoping that his story will be next, so when I saw this book I was thrilled.
I must admit that I was hooked and enjoyed reading from the dedication until the very last word.
The characters were well-written and I quickly fell in love with them both, but I also love the other characters like Kingston, Emma, and Tucker's brothers I can't wait to read their stories too.
hopeful lighthearted mysterious medium-paced

Wow. I love this book so much. I am a huge fan of romance and love stories, but add in a murder mystery and that just takes it to a whole new level. As I started this book, I thought "oh yeah, I already figured this out. It's gotta be xyz." but it WASN'T. I am usually pretty good at pinning down the whodunnit pretty early on, but this was one I got wrong. This is a story about second chances at love, about the universe putting people together, and how good things often come from horrible situations. Love love love this book!

cute read

This was a new to me author. I didn’t know what to expect when I started, but this book sucked me in. Tucker and Miranda were adorable together, but Kingston was the real star of the show.
