It was decent. I thought about dnfing it but I pushed through even if it was difficult to finish. I felt disconnected with the characters as I felt they were written very flatly and I found them a bit boring at times.

Poorly written

Not terrible, but the punctuation errors made it hard for me to enjoy. Plot and characters were lackluster and period language wasn’t consistent. Won’t continue the series.

Good start to a series. Still not sure if I feel all the side stories wrapped up well during the reveal and after. Not all characters got their just desserts which is my issue, not the fault of the story.
