honestly as soon as i saw it being compared to downton abbey i knew i had to read it literally a no brainier.

this was a super fun, quick and engaging cosy mystery very downton abbey-esque and i like the couple duo solving mysteries together.

i will definitely be picking others in the series when i can

Unread shelf project 2022: book 23.

Escapism at its finest! This was a lovely book to read as nightmare antidote and also as a stress antidote. I loved both Evelyn and Tommy and I’m excited to read further in this series — I currently own the first three on Kindle and may purchase more if the high standard set in this first book continues to be met!
