Loved it! Ace & Shelby are fantastic together.

This review boils down to this:

1. I loved this book! Shelby & Ace are fantastic together and after what their two exes put them through they SO deserve to be happy.

2. I’m loving this series! The emotional satisfaction of seeing true love prevail after heartbreak is so fulfilling and uplifting.

3. I absolutely adore Natasha Madison and have LOVED every book of her’s I’ve read. I have just a small number of books of her’s still left to read, but I can trust they will be fabulous too!

If you haven’t read a book by Natasha Madison you have deprived yourself of a wonderful reading experience. Her characters are smart, a little sassy, human and emotionally engaging. Each of her heroines and heroes are special and unique in their own ways.

If only 10 stars was an option!

If I got a letter from my ex saying he loved someone else, I would have punched him. Shelby did the unthinkable. Let herself get ready and walked down the aisle. But with twist, of course. I’m not sure how Natasha does it, but she brings these characters such amazing stories and let us feel their pain and love.

Mine To Hold is the second book in Madison’s new Southern Wedding series, and it seems as though this will be another instance where this author continuously outdoes herself.

I’m completely in love with the premise of this series. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of another where the series was based on weddings. A front row seat as a wedding doesn’t happen, but it’s clear Shelby wasn’t marrying the man she should have been. She and Ace were always going to end up together; it was just a matter of time.

Shelby was sweet and I adored the relationship she has with her sisters. Their personalities are so distinct, making their banter highly entertaining. Some seem to say whatever comes to mind, while others tend to think before they speak. Outspoken and shy, a little blend of opposites, one thing is abundantly clear: the love they have for one another is endless.

Ace was an effortless blend of swoony and alpha. He and Shelby had the banter that comes with knowing someone for a long time. They fit together so seamlessly, and even before they ever touched one another, it was abundantly clear that it was always meant to be the two of them.

This was exactly what I needed today. A world I could get lost in and while there were moments that pulled at my feels there weren't any sort of heavy emotions. There was entertaining banter that made me giggle, and there were some super steamy moments that kept me enthralled. For the most part, it was lighthearted, and as with all of Madison’s books, a sense of being a part of the fictional family on the pages is a comfort that will stay with you long after reading the last word.

Mine To Hold is the quintessential best friends to lovers story. An enthralling blend of intoxicating chemistry, a swoony hero, a sassy heroine, entertaining banter, sprinkles of feels, and super steamy. I can’t wait for the upcoming books in this series.

Mine to Hold is the second book in the Southern Wedding series which is a series based on four siblings whose wedding day turns into a nightmare. So far, every book has been great, and I think that starting with Mine to Kiss and reading them in order is best.
Shelby’s sisters had planned her perfect wedding and after the fiasco of their brother’s wedding, they thought they had everything covered so there be no disasters. Then Shelby gets a love letter emailed to her from her fiancé Joseph hours before their wedding, only it wasn’t addressed to her.
Ace was planning to propose to his girlfriend after the wedding until he discovered she was sleeping with the groom who was his best friend. Leaving town with Shelby brings back all his feelings for her years ago, but he had never acted on them. Maybe they were meant to be?
The books in this series keep getting better and better. Ace and Shelby were perfect for each other, and I loved watching their friendship expand into more. This is my favorite book in the series so far, but I really look forward to the next book which is Clarabella’s story. It sounds like another interesting story with lots of surprises.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was tempted to drop this by page 30 when I read this paragraph. It stood out so much against all the other writing.

I shake my head and get up to slip out of my dress when my phone beeps from the bed. I pick it up, not knowing that it will change the course of my life. I pick it up, not expecting that at that moment, my whole life is going to change. I pick it up innocently. The only thing going through my mind is me walking down the aisle. I pick it up with a smile on my face when I see it's from Joseph, and it's an email. My finger hovers over it as I press the notification to open it, and just like that, my house of cards comes falling down!

But I made it all the way to 40% when I decided I to give it up. The characters were banal, the writing was meh.
