I have been a fan of Lauren Layne for years. Some books are hits, and some are not. This one fell into the middle of the two. There is only one fade-to-black scene. which lowered the impact of the story for me. However, this was a cute setup and I couple I could root for. More review to come later.
4.5 ⭐️ rounded up. I do not usually “do” romance novels, but this one was exactly what I needed! So many times I found myself smiling from ear to ear. I fell in love with Naomi and felt for her struggles and difficulty overcoming her past insecurities. The theme of friendship between the 3 women given their circumstances was also heartwarming. I definitely recommend this book and can not wait for part 2!
If you can over the unrealistic premise that he wouldn’t recognize her or that she would willingly have a docudrama made about her life ... maybe ok to read on the airplane...
2 stars. waste of time. already forgot the names of the characters.
Started off great but the romance was so...bland. not bad but also lacking the heat and angst I love in my romances. This book got quite repetitive as well. I wanted something more.

I want to give this 4 stars but also it wasn’t spectacular. It’s one of those books that just happen to be exactly what you need at that exact time. It was a cute romance with a well done climax and resolution. I’m excited for the other books.
Minor: Mental illness, Blood, Dementia, Death of parent
Rounding up from 3.5 stars because I thought the story was well-written and the characters were well-written, but where the hell was the smut? Send me to horny jail, but that knocks the rating down at least one star
This was such a fun and sweet book ! I loved following Naomi and Oliver’s enemy to lover romance and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Claire and Audrey in the next 2 books. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a fun and a little bit sexy romance with the only steam being the sexual tension and angst between these 2
Can i say that starting the book with the bonding time of Naomi, Claire and Audrey was the way to get me attatched to this series really fast? Give me a book with a great female friendship and I'm a goner!!! This book was great and the series has so much potential I can't wait to read Claire's and Audrey's stories. A bunch of the conversations made me smile a lot and having a sex and the city night? I love the way their minds work.
