I loved Release Me, but I think I loved Claim Me more.

Claim Me picks up where Release Me left off. I have to admit, even after reading what happened between them in book 1, I was a little nervous about how Damien and Nikki's relationship would change once their arrangement came to end, but I had no reason to worry.

In Claim Me, we watch Damien and Nikki's relationship grow. I love the little banters they have, I love how they are both opening to one another. Billionaire and beauty queen status aside, they seem like a normal couple. Yes, they fights, they have misunderstandings, and Nikki may stalk away, but she always comes to her senses, they work on their issues and they go forward. I love how the angst from this book, comes from outside issues rather than primarily relationship issues. We get to see how this couple deals with the past problems being thrown at them, as well as paparazzi.

I have to say I love the secondary characters. Evelyn, Blaine, and Jamie are not simply there for show, they help push the plots forward. I even kind of like Ollie, though I could wring his neck.

This book ends in a little more of a cliffhanger than the last one. It's not a total cliffhanger, but it leaves open important plots that I cannot wait to see unfold!

A great book, cannot wait to read the next one, though I'm sad that will be the last one. I really love this couple, and wouldn't mind reading a lot more of them!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an ARC for an honest review

2nd in the Stark triogy (or are there...four?) Well done for the genre. Again, for those who would like a better alternative to the Fifty Shades books. Nikki Fairchild and Damien Stark encounter more bumps. The course of true love never did run smooth, though the way is considerably eased when dating a billionaire. Once you've summoned reporters to your ad-hoc news conference and disseminate the news you want, you can jet to Munich to stand by your man!

I was lucky enough to be approved for a review copy from NetGalley thanks to the publisher. I got hooked on this series with Release Me and had to see what happened next between Damien and Nikki in Claim Me.

The connection between Nikki and Damien is every bit as hot in Claim Me as it was in Release Me. I still love Nikki and Damien as a couple and liked this installment into their story. The only problem I really had with this book was Nikki’s repeatedly complaining about Damien not being more open about his past. She knew going into their relationship that Damien had secrets he wasn’t ready to share with her. I liked that he did open up a bit more about some of what happened in his past, but wished he had told her one of his biggest secrets before part was made public.

I honestly think Nikki is stronger as a person when she has Damien in her life. In my opinion, she was more willing to stand up for herself and those she loves, especially Damien. I did feel that Nikki and Damien grew closer in this book and really do love them as a couple.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in Complete Me, the final book in this series, and have already pre-ordered my copy for the July 30, 2013 release date.

It got better, I think the writer corrected her mistakes in this book.

I like it.
