Life is too short for bad books. So dnf it.

I always believe first person pov should be written in such a compelling way that the reader shouldn't get bored of that character. Ellie was boring. Meh. Blah for me.m
I didn't care a hoot about her problems, her social standing as a psychic. She was plain boring who can put me to a lot of agitation.

A fun historic paranormal read. I enjoyed the story but wasn’t the biggest fan of the character development and their relationships.

I started this book with my mind already made up that it was a slow romance book just like all the others. How we like usual the narrator Mary Jane Wells really brought this story up to the bar. I found myself many times while listening clutching the chair and gasping. Maybe because my hopes were already low, but the plot was unexpectedly twisty and exciting !
