Pretty great book, for anyone. Offers not just differences between fixed and growth mindsets, but details and clear benefits of adopting a growth mindset.
The book is also structured into chapters on life implementations of the growth mindset, such as: applications to business, relationships, parenting, teaching.
A great read, informative and helpful, for sure! A strong recommendation!

Mindset reminds me of the old expression, “It doesn’t matter whether you think you can or think you can. You’re right either way.” (quote?) Carol Dweck decisively demonstrates that our mindset drives our action. If we believe that we cannot change, we are right. If we believe that we are powerless to our situation, it will be so. However, through scientific studies and personal stories, Dweck show that by maintaining a “growth mindset” rather than a “fixed mindset”, individuals can dramatically alter results.
Our mindset drives our actions and Mindset shows that this is true in all spheres of life, whether it be personal, business, in education settings, etc…. I particularly found the contrast between those with a fixed mindset, such as Albert Dunlap, compared to those with a growth mindset, such as Jack Welch, to be quite informative.

A very different way of thinking, I really like the book. It gives me a clear way in being aware of which way of thinking I will be going to use for me and building for my children. I like the growth mindset and will seek to apply it into my life.

Helpful and reasonable, somewhat meandering, saying the same thing again over and over in different contexts. This does reiterate the argument, but occasionally feels redundant.

Great insight but it could've been much more concise. The anecdotes were very repetitive and made it seem like one big advert for the author's services at times.

really liked this book (except the business aspects). it's a bit repetitive but still very good.
Could have been a third of the length, but this is a great, academic look at letting fear rule the day vs being open and vulnerable and ready to change.
