I wasn’t a huge fan of this and it took me awhile to get through. The basic idea I got from this book is that there are two mindsets: fixed & growth. Individuals with a fixed mindset think their abilities are set and no matter how hard they try their abilities and/or their situation will stay the same. Individuals with a growth mindset know they can change if they work hard. Basically a positive vs. negative mindset. Obviously a positive attitude is better in life! Overall the book was repetitive and for me didn’t have a lot to offer.

Good perspective on how identify your mindset and move to or expand upon a growth mindset to persevere and make progress towards ones goals. You can flip your failures and moments of humiliation into feedback for improvement. In a growth mindset, it separates your worth from your talents and abilities. The book investigates the effects of praising ones abilities and talents vs praising the effort, time & energy and how that affects one's future progress.
Are you a human? Do you want to be better at something? Then this book is for you.

Enjoyed the concepts discussed but found some sections a little draggy, repetitive and name cally - which personally I didn't find as helpful (mainly the business/sports/child chapters)
