Not very good. I wanted something light to read for a summer vacation and this was pretty mindless. There wasn't a lot of substance to it, too many characters, I only kind of cared about a few of the characters and the other stories were boring and I skimmed a lot. It just wasn't well written, wasn't engaging or interesting and there really wasn't much of a story.

Picked this up at the Santa Cruz bookshop, and was intrigued within the first few pages. Gave me Big Little Lies vibes, with multiple moms perspectives. It seemed a little incomplete, in the sense that towards the end I was hoping for more answers/resolutions.

Like this authors style a lot though, this is the first read I’ve done that is a solo piece of hers, not co written.

The main characters in the book all held secrets. It felt like Desperate Housewives.
It was a good read though.

I’ve had this book on hold on Libby for quite some time. It became available at a time I was picking my next read and I’ve been on a thriller kick lately so decided to give it a try.. and I gotta say, I’m glad I did.

The Perfect Neighbors involves 4 women and their families who live in the ideal perfect neighborhood. They have ideal lives but each of them has secrets and part of living in this perfect neighborhood is making sure those secrets don’t surface.

This book definitely gave me “Desperate Housewives” vibes but I’m not mad about it. I liked the suspense, I enjoyed the buildup and the mystery surrounding these secrets. Not too much of a thriller it was definitely more of a slow burn but overall I’m rating it 3.5 stars.

This was good enough to listen to on my long commute but the story was too wholesome. If you are going to say “read this if you liked Big Little Lies” you better have some terror and seediness with a side of hilarity to offer. This did not.

A delicious read reminiscent of 'Desperate Housewives' but with less crazy. I truly enjoyed the different characters and the lives they lead publicly with friends and neighbors vs. what goes on behind closed doors and in their hearts & minds. I loved each story line of Tessa, Susan, Gigi & Kellie. I always appreciate the layers that Sarah Pekkanen writes for her characters; they're in-depth, believable and relatable.

was kinda expecting a mystery mystery but it was definitely a beach read type of book. kinda fun though. i wish the characters were worse. kellie should have cheated and susan could have gone further with her stalking. it wasn’t that type of book but i would have appreciated a little more craziness 😳🤞‼️
