Enjoyed this short story! Typical Stephen King. Would love to see it rewritten without the 50’s language. Hate the N word and it’s not needed to get the point across.

My new favorite thing in the world is going into a King novella or short story completely blind and having my world completely rocked. Loved this.

The internal thoughts of the main character, and descriptions at the strange club are reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poe. The story about an unfortunate pregnant woman is captivating and disturbing. I really enjoyed this.

POPSUGAR 2024 Prompt #8: by a visually impaired author
Very well read novella. I can see why the narrator is so famous ;) the story was fascinating and gripping.
I loved the interview with Stephen King at the end talking about being typed for genre.

Much more interesting than the blurb suggested, i seriously enjoyed this and the style was really cool and I’m just very satisfied with the book, pleasant surprise.
