I wanted more of the gentleman’s club.
It was some odd scary stories told by the other men.
It’s clear this place has a secret and is not normal.
But it’s not explained or expanded.
I really liked the story a lot that made me want more. But there’s not a lot.

This is one of those unfortunate stories where the framing story feels more interesting to me than the story itself. The Breathing Method has the trappings of a pretty good, almost Gothic story with some pretty good commentary on the treatment of single pregnant women but it falls short of that and just feels boring until the very end. Most of it feels too directionless.
