I'm actually so hype TLS wrote a sequel to this and a prequel to the series because I'm not emotionally ready to be done with the MBS!!

a nice ending to the trilogy. this one kind of left me tired as there wasn't any let up from the dire situations. I would have preferred a little more time after the resolution.

The Mysterious Benedict Society is back for their third escapade, and this time, they're facing off against the Whisperer, a sought-after machine that lands them in hot water with the government and the villainous Mr. Curtain. With Constance discovering her mental powers and making a daring escape, things get even more intense as they're left to fend for themselves against Curtain's Ten Men.

I’ve always had a soft spot for this series because it feels like reconnecting with old friends. There’s something comforting and familiar about it, even as the characters face new challenges. While the story may not have the same element of surprise as the first book, seeing how they handle tough situations with their unique abilities is enjoyable, and the group dynamic continues to be a big part of the charm. Even without the element of surprise, the book still delivers a fun read.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other two. I think after reading the first two and then this one, it was just getting old. Too much of the same stuff going on over and over again. I ended up just skimming the last 80 pages or so.
