i have absolutely zero religious/christian background and the concept of an apocalypse bums me out too much…couldn’t stay interested in this one. i can totally understand why so many people i know loved this book but it’s just not for me and that’s okay! i am not the correct audience
Holy shit, this book. I am not a horror reader; I am definitely not a BODY horror reader, but this was so incredibly pertinent to the world we currently live in. The religious fundamentalism in this book is both terrifying and familiar. All of Andrew Joseph White's books are now officially added to my TBR.
