I found this simultaneously ridiculous and boring, which is not a good combo.
Not my favorite Agatha Christie novel in the world, but still an intriguing story. Poirot takes a step back from everyday detective work and takes on international spy work, which was...different.
It would seem that the author is trying to make fools of the reader.

It's hard to believe this is a real Agatha Christie novel. But then, it's actually not - it's a series of short stories writen for a magazine, stuck together. Even knowing that, it's an odd read.
