I'm giving this book 2 stars based on that it makes me sad if this is how girls today think that they should be/act today. There are enough pressures of being a teenage with this propaganda going around! Otherwise it was a fast guilty read.

Stop judging me.

Yes, I watch this show. And yes, I've put off reading the books because I know it's cotton candy fluff. But damn, it's just so much fun.

I was actually surprised at how close the book sticks with season one of PLL (or I guess I should say the show stuck close to the book, but I watched the show first, so whatever). I was a bit surprised at the characterization of Aria - she was made to be much more simpering and wishy-washy about her core values than she appears to be in the show.

Lots of teenage, hide under the bed, ooer-gooey romance-turned-murder-mystery. Exactly what I expected. Three stars.
