Read for university. I thought it was kind of slow and dull at the beginning, but had a really interesting middle and an especially tense end. Man, I HATE Mary though.

4 stars?? I might bump this up to a five after I sleep on it but man fuck this play. I love it so much but the story causes me so much agony. I'm crying at 4:30 in the morning and I just want to wallow in this pain for a little bit. The film is one that I've only seen once and that was more than enough for me. It's a fantastic film but soul crushing and my dumbass decided it would be *fun* to read the play and it was just as soul crushing. Martha and Kate and what they went through is just something that sticks with you and it's painful as hell but I would recommend it.
