This was a fun read! It felt a little long and like there was a lot of world building, but Iā€™m excited to read the next few!

I was a little skeptical at first - I'm not usually into books about talking animals - but I thoroughly enjoyed this imaginative tale! I would definitely recommend it to children and adults of all ages!

A classic, but the writing style is somewhat dated. Makes for an amusing read, nonetheless.

I just love how the abbot, with his dying breath, set Mathias and Cornflower up because he KNEW they were too stupid to admit they were into each other.

Also, Julian and Captain Snow are married, and Constance is a lesbian, her and Dunwing get freaky sometimes, sorry I don't make the rules šŸ˜Œ
