This book is charmingly delightful. I don't think I can quite describe how this book made me feel but it's somewhat like a warm hug. Or that feeling when you're curled up in a fluffy blanket in your favourite chair with a cup of hot chocolate. Pure perfection.

I completely fell in love  with all the characters. So many different characters, each vastly different. Lucy, Theodore, Sal, Phee, Chauncey and Talia have such vivid personalities and individuality. I adored all of them but Chauncey is my favourite character. The green blob is a literal ball of sunshine. So pure!! Another one would be Lucy.

I don't know why this book is so loved. The storyline is trite and the writing is bad. I didn't even know about the author appropriating the sixties scoop to write a feel-good novel about diversity.
