I really enjoyed this book— the story was very honest and genuinely told, and I was involved in the story almost immediately. While I know others have said they wish it was longer, I feel it was the perfect length to do exactly what the author wanted to.

This was an average book but it was really short with no real focus on the main characters motivations’, so I had to dock some points for that. I would have greatly appreciated to have more of Heron’s monologue both in the past and the present. This could have been a short story. There are so many unnecessary details about the surrounding characters in this book, but not enough about the MCs.
