Damn. This is not a perfect book, and even for an issue book, it veers over the line into preachy a couple times. However, it is propulsively plotted and the characters are interesting, and the questions it raises are excellent. I can think of at least ten very different people who would like this book. I would absolutely love to do this in a book club, and even though I am not the type who usually comes up with my own discussion questions, I found them popping into my head.

Wow, this book was fantastic!

This family drama is propelled by the moral and technical dilemmas as set forth by immerging artificial technologies. Even if technology isn't really your niche, it's become so prevalent in our everyday lives, so its involvement in the story doesn't feel cumbersome. If anything, this story really makes you think while you're hooked on the Cassidy-Shaw family drama.

I ate this book up. Who is really to blame for the car accident? That's up for the reader to decide. Even with all the facts presented... who truly knows?

This book was both gripping and thought-provoking. It felt especially relevant to current discussions around artificial intelligence, ethics, and human decision-making. The story opens with a tragic car crash, and from there unfolds through the perspectives of those involved, revealing how a single moment can ripple through multiple lives.

One of the most compelling aspects of the novel is how it blends mystery with ethical questions and complex family dynamics.
