This book!
I loved the characters and their growth throughout the book.
I was a bit disappointed by the (non-existent) plot though, nothing really happened.
I felt like the first half of the book described perfectly my high school years (Taylor's POV), without the happy ending, unfortunately :'D.

Listen, was this cheesy as all heck but also kind of endearing? Absolutely.
Did I expect anything more out of this? No.
Did I have some flashbacks of my awkward middle/high school self that I did not ask for in the slightest? Way too many

This was cute, but definitely a little over the top. This reads like fanfiction but about characters you don't know yet. The fandom references were a lot, even for me, someone obsessed with fandoms. The diversity was refreshing. This will likely be really cool for a teenager to read and see themselves reflected in fiction, but for an adult, it was just a little too much for me. Mainly I think the issue lies in the lack of realist sounding conversations between characters. A lot of times it felt like the author was standing on a soapbox screaming into the void about fandom or social justice issues.
I have never related to something so fucking much. Everything Taylor felt I feel daily just like her. This book is adorable, mesmerizing, & heart felt! This is a must read for anyone who loves fandoms
