T. Kingfisher

4.01 AVERAGE

Everything T. Kingfisher writes I like. Of course, some more than others, but I’m happy to say this novel is one of the top 5. I loved everything about it. Rosita and her family, the world in which they live in, her friend and the adversaries they encountered.

I would love to read more stories that take place in this world, either about Rosa or anyone else we met in this book.

What a marvelous imagination. Just finished Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking (and three adult horror titles)...just a great imagination. recommended!

This was a good middle grades t kingfisher story. It had a young main character (10 years old) and magic that wasn’t overpowered, lessons to be learned to save the day, and a creepy antagonist.
