GUP is back at it again. And while I loved seeing the next chapter for Patrick, Maisie, and Grant, this was in no way as enchanting and laugh out loud funny as the first. There were moments, but not as many, as is typical with a sequel.

In this second adventure, Maisie and Grant's father is getting married abroad to an Italian so Guncle Patrick takes the kids across Europe to give the couple some needed alone time. I think I would've liked it more had it been that premise alone, but more than half takes place during the  pre-wedding events and I just didn't find that as fun.

I'm disappointed to not have a 5 star review for this one. It was a good story, just didn't have the magic of the first one. Patrick grew so much as a character in the previous book, there wasn't that funny dynamic of the set-in-his-ways man and 2 precocious children in this one.
