I love this series so much! Landon Fritz is 🔥

Landon has a lot of past grief which takes some getting over, but I'm so glad he gets his HEA with Elle. They're perfect for each other 😍

I love Stella! She's an amazing teenage girl with a heart of gold, and I hope we see more of her ❤️

This is a fab read, I very much enjoyed these charaters.

I have said this many times with many of this author’s books, but this series especially each book is amazing. Well I am back to say it again, but this time I am saying this book and Landon is my favorite by far. Landon’s emotions and guilt are so real, so raw that as a reader you feel them deep in your soul. He carried so much on his shoulders that it ate away at him and he only lived for his daughter (Stella) so this made him this grumpy irritated at everything man. I didn’t blame him for his feelings because so much bad happened when he never meant the words he spoke, but sometimes fate has plans we never see coming. As a single father, doctor that comes from a very well known wealthy family he tries to live a simple life, as much as he can, works hard and loves his daughter but at times he gets lonely. When he goes out to scratch an itch he doesn’t expect to have his feelings flipped upside down by the gorgeous Elle. What leads to a one night stand turns into so much more when Elle not only turns out to be his new neighbor, but also Stella’s new teacher as well. With Landon trying to fight this feelings he hasn’t felt in a very long time he comes across as mean and angry towards Elle, but Elle being the sweetheart she is knows how to put him in his place which he ends up loving about her. Elle has her own emotional baggage that has sent her to find a new life. Coming from a horrible family and an ex husband who was verbally abusive she got out and is starting over but this thing with Landon throws her for a loop. These two would go back and forth that the tension was so strong and the steam so hot. I loved every second that they had between them and with so much of their past hurting them can they find a way to move forward or on? Elle and Stella’s friendship was such a sweet and fun thing that I also loved and I think that had a major part in turning Landon’s attitude over. With so much happening between them and the pain they carry will they be able to trust each other with their hearts or lose to the darkness of the past? This was a beautiful book about finding yourself, letting go of the past but never forgetting it, and trusting other’s again. Landon you stole my heart and I don’t want it back (just don’t tell Jasper Diamond, ok?) PS Luca I also love you because you make me laugh.

Elle and Landon’s story was darker than the previous books in the series so I was a bit surprised but I absolutely loved it. They met at a bar and it was supposed to be one night with no strings attached but she just moved to Boston from Florida and surprise, they’re neighbors now. Landon’s suspicious of Elle because that’s too much of a coincidence to be believable and people – especially women – do crazy things to the billionaire Fritz brothers. But Elle rented that house before they ever met and had no idea the hot one-night-stand from the hotel bar would be living next door. She doesn’t want to have anything to do with him anyway since he gave her a fake name because who does that?

Despite being neighbors, it should be easy enough to avoid each other, except she’s his daughter’s new teacher and Stella falls harder for Elle than Landon. They share an interest in gardening and Elle is teaching her to cook so Stella can’t get enough of her awesome new teacher and Landon struggles to avoid her. There’s a great love-to-hate thing going here and they’re hot even at each other’s throats. Landon has some serious baggage in his past that affects every aspect of his life but Elle has skeletons of her own and they pop out of the closet in a big way.

Their story is sweet and funny at times, but pulls at your heartstrings at others. It’s an emotional rollercoaster but in the best possible way. I love these two and the way they came together. This is another fantastic book in what’s become a favorite series and I can’t recommend it enough.

If you read the previous two books in this series, you know Dr. Landon Fritz has some heartbreak in his past that has left him a single father to his adorable daughter. Stella was four when her mom died. Landon was not only left devastated from the death of his wife, but weighed down with guilt as well. He does not believe he deserves a second chance at love and trusts few people. So occasionally one of his siblings will take Stella for the night, while he has a one-night stand. From the start things are different with Elle. Landon approaches her instead of being the one approached. However, he lets a case of mistaken identity by the bartender bleed into his conversation. He spends one amazing night with Elle as Luca, his twin. It should mean anything since they never plan to see each other again.
They soon discover that Elle is Landon’s new neighbor and even one of Stella’s teachers. I was really glad this was not a drawn out case of mistaken identity. Elle is fairly upset about the lie Landon told her their first night together. Landon is angry with himself for feeling a draw to Elle in the first place. Both of these characters have pasts that they are still healing from. Elle has just finalized a divorce from her abusive husband. She has moved to the Boston area to start fresh, away from her ex and family. Landon still has not forgiven himself for the death of his wife and Stella’s mother. As Stella's relationship with Elle grows, Landon’s willpower to continue avoiding and shutting her out fades. And both learn that love can be found again.
I was ready for the headache of Landon’s story and it was delivered. I just wanted to give him a hug. Elle’s story was no less heartbreaking, but her response was strong. She had spent enough of her life pleasing others in her life before herself to know what she was worth more than a throw away relationship. The sexual chemistry between these two was off the charts but I think their share experiences is what made them so great together. These two had several outside factors working against them but the hardest to overcome was their own trust issues. I always like when the couple gets together and then endures outside forces together. Stella was a great secondary character, who was not afraid to be herself. And we get a few appearances from the rest of the Fritz family and more understanding of the differences between Landon and Luca. Luca seems like a carefree, irresponsible, playboy but I believe behind it he is hiding a heartache as deep as Landon. Only time will tell.

I can’t help falling for another Fritz brother. This series is addictive and swoon worthy. Landon is moody and brooding and watching the way his past weighs on him is heartbreaking. Stella is smart and sweet and I loved watching her come out of her shell. Elle is a breath of fresh air. She has her own baggage, but she’s a good person with the biggest heart. I enjoyed the awkward moments, the witty banter, and the undeniable chemistry. I highly recommend adding this to your must read list.
