Railing each other before getting to know each other has ALWAYS been a turn off for me within a book. I hate it. They had a “connection” for each other. Yeah, right.

Dark Hockey Romance

The book was a good read. I liked the characters but didn't like the Stockholm syndrome feel of him to her. Instead of him making bad things happen for him to get his way he could of improved her situations. Helped her grow. Maybe I've been reading to many rom coms lol. Enjoyed the story line past that. Not sure if I'll keep reading the series though.

This Book is so UNHINGED which i ended up liking & impress. I think I’m sick cos i easily accept what Lincoln did, man, Lincoln took another level of being BOY OBSESSED & psycho.
I love Monroe, she’s a new favourite, she deserves so much goodness. But i guess being stuck to Lincoln, not bad I guess. Btw, i was laughing so much reading cos this is so unhinged, or i really like stalker romance
emotional relaxing fast-paced

3.5⭐️ Dark stalker hockey romance? I really was not expecting this. Both MCs have a dark past. Monroe was really going through all of the things and I really felt bad for this girl. I like how the author describes Monroe as being poor as in not just thinking of where her next meal was or how her clothes looked next to regular people but the mentality of being poor like having to eat ramen or how to behave at work in order to keep her job. Some authors are too quick to make a leap when the FMC starts seeing a rich guys and forget where they came from. Lincoln literally had ALL THE RED FLAGS! I see desperation and really toxic behaviors in his character flaws, but to say it was working for Monroe was an understatement because she ate that shit up. Lincoln is literally a psycho and at the end Monroe was still okay with it. All in all, I loved the banter and the way Lincoln put Monroe above all else despite his possessive stalker tendencies.

“You think you don’t have a claim on me?” he finally growled, breaking the sex-fueled silence. “You think it’s possible for anyone else to exist now that I’ve found you?”

•Stalker/possessive/obsessive vibes
•Red flags galore
•Dark trauma from family
•Finger licking good
•Virgin FMC
•Morally gray
•”Mine”
•”Look at me”
•Superstar hockey player

Not dark enough.
All the things Lincoln did- loved it! But still, it wasn't dark enough. I was expecting more on his part and it just never happened. I guess Jane didn't want to take it too far into dark romance territory which I can respect but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
Not sure if I'll read Ari's story...
