The pacing and spice were decent, but that's all it has going for it. I'm fine with a good stalker romance, but the MMC usually has at least some redeeming quality or realization that balances the crazy. This MMC has absolutely no redeeming qualities, but since he's hot, rich, and has a sob story we're supposed to ignore/accept that he completely ruined her life to make her dependent on him? The FMC spends all of 5 seconds being upset about it before accepting her Stockholm syndrome and moving on like it's not the most toxic relationship ever.

I've had this book on my Kindle for absolute ages.
WHY DID I NOT READ IT SOONER???!!!
I honestly feel like I've missed out by waiting this long!
I love a good hockey romance, but this one is on another level with its darker side.
I love that Lincoln, the superstar billionaire hockey player, is just plain obsessed with Monroe, the working 2 jobs just to pay rent night class student.
And the best thing about this is that he's not obsessed like in a lot of books where he just thinks about her all the time etc. I mean he is crazy obsessed, stalker level.
Honestly just read this book. PLEASE!
