This book was overall a pretty decent book. The only qualms I have with this is the whole bad boy treats girl like shit and she secretly loves it trope that perpetuates the mistreatment of women because "the secretly find it attractive". I liked how this girl threw it right back at him but still...The dialogue was kinda weird and the wording of stuff was awkward but you get used to it I guess? In the end over all I enjoyed the book but was able to put it down and not pick it back up for several days. This book was slightly warmer than lukewarm but the concept is cool and the story is interesting enough with some interesting characters and development.
Eep! It doesn't get 5 stars because of the first half and all of the annoying. In fact I prob would have given it 3 stars but then the ending was really really good and I ended up liking Patch and Nora by the end so I'm forgiving all the little things that don't really make sense. At any rate, I couldn't put it down! Definitely going to read the next one.
Loved it! Thought it would be similar to the Twilight series, but it's sooooooo much better! Onto Crescendo now!

Its been a long time since I read this one but today I came across it and I just couldn't stop myself from writing..
Actually when I was about to start I took suggestions and they said that its pathetic boring and I'll waste my time.
And hey people seriously never consider suggestions too seriously bcz they could keep u from something great.
THANKS to GOD that I never listened to any one and started this...
I was glued to it and I just loved it esp patch...I was so in love with this I can't explain.
I completed it in a day and started with rest of the series...
Everything was well written...the suspense points were great and becca managed the story very nicely esp the revelations about patch...
I only have one small complain..she could've used another name except patch it was kinda strange for me and it still is
I don't find it fitting still.

At first, I couldn't see why people rated this so low. To be fair, I did really go into this with low expectations, like ridiculously. The last 100 pages or so is what brought the rating down for me. Everything became way too unrealistic(well, more than it already was) and even though it was supposed to be the climax, everything just slowed down. I'll give this a "meh."

There are too many flaws in Hush Hush for it to be considered a good book, but at the same time Hush Hush is really really good trash. I devoured this book. Becca Fitzpatrick’s writing is addictive. There is enough mystery and lust surrounding Patch to keep readers obsessed with finding out what happens next, despite some of the plot holes being so ridiculous they’re unintentionally funny. Hush Hush is perfect if you are after something suspenseful and spicy that is extremely easy to read. Just make sure to ignore the medical inaccuracies and other flaws.
So I thought I hated this, but I really want to read the second book right now, so maybe I didn't??
My thoughts honestly don't even make sense. Everything in the book was terrible, but whenever I try to read anything other than the second book my brain is screaming NOOOOOOOO!
Haha, I am a mess. But I guess I am now addicted to this series?
ANYWAYS...
Why does Patch even like Nora though?!?! And why does Nora like Patch?? They have no chemistry together. But they are still really cute as a couple!
But let's be honest. Patch is both a jerk and a creep. For the whole first half of the book I couldn't read his name without screaming.
I liked all the history of the fallen angels that they put in though, that was really interesting.
And the plot was good, with all the different storylines being followed. I liked that there were multiple bad guys, and also that it was Jules and not Elliot because I am oblivious and did not see that coming!
This book has basically left my brain as one big contradiction and I don't even know anymore what I think. Hopefully the sequel will clear this up for me!
