I enjoyed the interaction between Patch and Nora. Reading of angels was a nice change to other paranormal types.

The characters and the story can be a little annoying at times and the romance seems a little unrealistic buy most of the mystery is explained in the end and it all makes more sense. Overall it is a pretty good book.

I want Patch... badly... very, very badly..... er... LOVED this book! Nora is adorable, smart, charming, and brave. Great cast. And did I mention I want Patch? nom nom nom.

I found this book to be a little risky for a YA romance book, however I read this series for the first time in high school and i remember being obsessed with it. I decided to revisit as an adult (after searching for the whole series for YEARS) and i remember why I love it so much! Nora Grey is such a relatable FMC who finds herself in questionable situations, as most 16 year olds do. Patch is the MMC that started my love for Morally grey men. After finishing the first book, my taste in books as an adult makes sense.
Favorite line:
“A guy like me could take advantage of a girl like you. Better show me what you got” -Patch

A friend recommended this to me right after Christmas, but I put off reading it. Angels are like werewolves and aliens for me…I’m not a big fan. However, I really enjoyed this book and by chapter two I didn’t want to put it down.

Patch was an interesting combination of sweet and annoying jerk. Nora was strong at times but then she would unexpectedly give into Patch and admit things she didn’t want him to know.

SpoilerEven though Patch fell for Nora early in the book, I liked that his intention was to kill her. The reason I say this is because it’s different from books like Twilight where the supernatural hero immediately falls for the human girl (I have nothing against Twilight because I did enjoy it).

I sincerely thank (and fully blame) my friend for getting me hooked on this series. I’ll have to listen to her more often. :)

Wasn't sure how to rate this one. I liked it (sort of) but thought there were holes in the story. Not sure if they were supposed to be there and will resolve in another book or what. I wasn't sure about the characters either, don't know if I liked any of them all that much. But, it was an exciting story and kept me reading.

Just terrible. Basically the same plot as twilight, although even more all over the place. Characters and are all dull and one dimensional. Writing isn’t particularly good. There are so many issues with this book I don’t want to list them all. Will not be reading the other ones.

I honestly can't remember the differenc between this one and Fallen and Dark Divine. I liked one of them better than the others, but I can't remember which one. I'll let you know if I remember.

5 ⭐️ for the nostalgia
But I want my own guardian angel who would give up the one thing he ever truly wanted to save my life and have me alive and with him!!!!!!
