Another book I thought I'd read but had only read half! But anyway, I LOVED THIS! Such a good damn book! Great concepts, relationships, folklore etc. so happy with this book it's insane! Because of the way it was written I was in suspense at all times! I didn't pick the bad guy at all!

This book was so addictive. I didn't want to put it down. It had a lot of great twists and turns. I loved Patch and Nora. I can't wait to read what happens next!
It's really a 2 and half to 3 stars. As a teen forbidden love romance, it isn't bad. But it is of course, no Wuthering Heights.
Chyba zbyt wiele wymagałam od tej książki po wielu pozytywnych opiniach na jej temat, ale niestety nie należę do grona osób, które są nią wręcz zafascynowane, ale rozumiem, że gdybym po nią sięgnęła w latach gdy wychodziła, sama byłabym w niej zakochana, niestety tamten okres minął i obecna "Ja" jest nią trochę zawiedziona. Fakt. Czyta się ją bardzo szybko, nie będę kłamać, niestety wszystko jest tam tak chaotyczne, tak szybko pędzi akcja, że tak naprawdę po jej skończeniu nie pamiętam połowy wydarzeń jakie miały w niej miejsce, choć sam wątek z aniołami jest ciekawy, ale mógł być lepiej poprowadzony. Cóż, jest to dopiero pierwszy tom, może kolejne będą lepsze. Na tę chwilę jest to dla mnie zwyczajna średnia młodzieżówka, która w latach 2009-2012 zdecydowanie podbiłaby moje serce, więc dla osób młodszych pewnie będzie to bardziej interesująca pozycja.

Book 1 of 2025 done! This one was a recommended read from a girl from work, she said she really liked the series and the premise of fallen angels sounded awesome and a romance between a fallen angel and a human girl even better! Sadly, it did not live up to my expectations though. I feel like the path the story took for Patch and Nora to get together was all over the place and I really didn't feel the chemistry between the two of them at all and Nora was quite annoying in her back and forth with not trusting Patch and then having feelings for him. The villian of the story was good, I had no idea who the bad guy or "guys" were and that was a big surprise at the end. Although this is a story about angels the biggest part that made it not believable is how the parents are just so oblivious about their teenagers and where they are. Nora's mom takes a job that travels away from her the whole week after her husband was murdered the year before and isn't super worried about her daughter.
