I loved this! Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters ever, she is such a strong women. Even tho i did cry about some of the flashbacks and so I still loved it. so 5 stars easily

This book definitely heavily relies on the fact that you're not reading it unless you already care about Ahsoka and know a bit about the Star Wars universe. That being said, it was definitely an enjoyable read. Finding out where her white light sabers come from is *chefs kiss*.
I missed Ahsoka after the Clone Wars ended. E K Johnston nailed her character and while it was an easy read I absolutely loved it.

Taking place after the events of Order 66, Ahsoka Tano is on the run from the newly formed Galactic Empire. We follow her as she lays low on outer rim planets under a false identity trying to avoid notice. But the parasitic reach of the Empire’s oppression expands throughout the galaxy and Ahsoka finds herself reunited with old acquaintances to become an integral part of the growing rebellion.
Perfectly elobarotes on Ahsoka's story, after the clone wars and establishes how she is independent in the way she wields the force and helps others. This story perfectly leads into star wars:rebels. Definitely recommend.
While not a perfect book. Ahsoka aptly utilizes the past, present, and future of its title heroine, from The Clone Wars to Rebels and beyond, to give us a clearer understanding of her place in the Rebellion, what it means to have been a Jedi during the Age of the Empire, and most importantly, what Ahsoka herself is truly fighting for. (Not to mention some very cool interludes updating us on and illuminating the lives of other fan favorites like Maul, Obi-Wan, and Bail Organa.)
