A fantastic telling of how one of my favorite SW characters survived after Order 66. Love putting the pieces together of how Ahsoka lived life after the Jedi and how she found her way back. Plus the audiobook is narrated by Ahsoka herself!
The book was a fun read and it fit in nicely between Rebels and the Clone Wars. It started off a little slow but quickly started moving along. The author certainly captured the essence of all versions of Ahsoka’s we’ve been introduced to.

This is a great middle school read and perfect for Star Wars fans. I was expecting more of a YA novel like Johnson's other books, but I still found it enjoyable. My issue was that the story felt underwhelming and it wasn't epic as Star Wars should be.
Absolutely loved this book! I hope we get more Ahsoka focused novels. She's definitely a character that deserves to be explored more.

My score is very biased, as I love Ahsoka and I love this time period. Set between the end of The Clone Wars cartoons and the beginning of Rebels. I was looking for exactly this character in exactly this time frame.
I agree with other reviews that this seems to be aimed at younger readers. It's lacking the more technical Star Wars names/terms/descriptions/battles that other SW books have.

Ahsoka is a fantastic character that has evolved significantly over the years and, thanks to everyone involved in creating and bringing her to life, made a lasting impact on the Star Wars universe.
This story was fun and fast paced but didn't shy away from examining the more emotional side of Ahsoka and the toll the time after Order 66 took on her.
Hopefully there will be more Ahsoka based stories in both young adult novels, like this one, and in the main adult novel series.
