This was really addicting. I will say that because it’s marketed as having a twist, I figured out the twist pretty quick. That didn’t make it unenjoyable at all but that’s why I knocked it down to 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this I’ll be checking out her other books.

If you’ve read enough Frieda McFadden books you can probably guess the twists as soon as the story is set up, but it was still entertaining! One of the more enjoyable books imo (and the Tenant). Not a literary masterpiece but you already knew that. Worth a read.

Als Urlaubsbuch ganz in Ordnung, und wenn man sonst nicht wirklich Thriller liest.

Nach der ersten Hälfte habe ich fast aufgegeben, weil es irgendwie total die Chickflick-Romance Vibes hatte. Den Plot twist habe ich aber nicht kommen sehen, und ab da wurde es dann auch spannender, deshalb 3 Sterne. Der Schreibstil ist aber nicht so meins, viel zu deskriptiv.

This book was not what I expected at all - I had a really good time on this rollercoaster of a book.
If you love plot twists and thrillers this is a book for you.
