Dear Mr. Krueger, do you know that commas can be used in the English language? I would love to have you meet my English 101 teacher from college, you two would not get along but you might learn something.
Also, if you're a fans of retelling you might enjoy this. Consider this, a shitty retelling of To Kill a Mockingbird with a character that is a complete assassination of that main character and its intentions. And let's not even discuss the shitty religious undertones, and the absolutely fucking terrible way of using the title and the stupidest "ordinary grace'.
Absolutely waste of my time, and my issues with my book club and their picks are once more triggered.

I thought I’d like this, having spent so many years in Minnesota and having married one and all. But I found the narrator to be an annoying little shit who shouldn’t have been wherever he was, except that it served the author to drop us a few more breadcrumbs from the boy’s eavesdropping. Ugh. This was just a whodunnit after all.

This book was so amazing! It presented questions, doubts, and fears that so many of us have but don’t ever admit! The truth it spoke was so clear but not preachy. I learned that we may at times doubt and even turn out back on God but He is always there waiting for us. I can’t say enough good about this book!!

Solid read. Not amazing but good. 4 stars.
PROS: engaging, good story and characters, some depth and beauty
CONS: predictable, some of the dialogue unrealistic, some characters "too perfect"
