I really enjoyed this story. It reminds me a bit of the kdrama Mystic Pop-Up Bar.
This novel is almost two books in one. First book, a quirky sweet story set in Korea. Imagine a laundry where the stains of regret, unhappiness, even sadness get washed away and replaced with self- confidence, contentment and joy. Second book, an advice book on how to move beyond your past, those memories and feelings that hold you back and instead focus on the positive things in your life. Instead of providing step by step instructions, advice is dispensed via a lovely story where the individuals in the story receive the advice and are able to overcome their obstacles.
I enjoyed this story, although a few terms were foreign to me such as Aigoo (Korean for OMG) but overall, I liked how the author dispensed advice without sounding preachy and in a story format. If you enjoy stories with a bit of magic, where the characters strive for new beginnings and where advice is given in a gentle caring way, this book is for you.

En un inicio yo pensaba que iba a ser un libro de relatos cortos e individuales en los que la protagonista lavara los malos recuerdos y vivencias de sus clientes.
Sin embargo nada más lejos de la realidad, con cada cliente no sólo presencias como al limpiar sus manchas sus vidas se aligeran y mejoran; sino que cada uno de ellos suponen un aprendizaje para el propio camino personal de la protagonista, que aunque en un principio no lo parezca, es la trama principal.

I really wanted to like this book. I thought it would be a bit like ‘Before the coffee gets cold’ and I think that’s kind of what the author set out to do, but it just didn’t land quite the same way. I understand that the book was translated into English but so much of the dialogue sounded stilted and unnatural. In addition to that, I didn’t really understand what was going on most of the time, the plot was all over the place and difficult to follow along. I like the idea of the book, but the ending was confusing as well. Sorry, but this one wasn’t for me.
