I don´t know how to feel about this book. I struggled at least 150 pages in. It didn´t quite capture me like the other books about Warner and Juliette. Still I liked both James' and Rosabelle´s character, just it dragged on too long in the beginning for me. However the other half of the story convinced me to want to read the next book in this series.

When I can binge a book in less than three hours, it definitely deserves five stars. That’s exactly what happened with this one—so, another five-star read!
Spin-offs can go either way, but from the moment this book was announced, I had a feeling it would be amazing. Still, there’s always that little fear that it might not live up to the hype.
Shatter Me is one of the series that brought me back to reading in 2020–2021, so it holds a special place in my heart. I enjoyed this book just as much as the original series. I love that we follow James—he was one of my favorite characters in Shatter Me series—and we finally get to see more of his personality. We also follow Rosabelle, who’s such a strong and amazing female character. Their relationship is so good!!!
The writing is easy to follow, the plot is really good and kept me interesting to read, and now I’m desperate for the next book… but sadly, we’ll have to wait.
