I think the story was enjoyable, though not as much as the original shatter me books (i devoured those). this book was nice, but didn't have me hooked as much as the main story.

James is also a wonderful mix of the people who raised him, the main two I got was Kenji and Aaron.
Possible spoiler warning for the characters mentioned?
Ian’s less annoying in this book! Adam’s such a dad and Aaron’s the same as ever only even more in love and protective over Juliette. They’re hopelessly in love.
Kenji is even funnier in this book which I love, and I need more of him and Winston. I also need more of Kenji and Aaron
