this was so fun! the fight scenes are really active and engaging and i love reading fetch quests and games! i thought the tear trials were really cool and i liked how they played directly how cyrus wanted them to ... and STILL won! i think a lot of people would think this is way too long but for me it means i make friends with all the characters and get to live in this world longer :)
This one took me a while to read, since other books kept distracting me. However, once I got into it, it was hard to stay away!
I don't want to give too much away, and it can be a little hard to remember what happens in this one and the last one, but here are some of the highlights:
We get to find out exactly what Hudson sacrifices when he uses his power to rid a field of enemies.
What does it mean now that Jaxon has a dragon heart?
Now that Grace has found the courage to try, what exactly can her green string do?
How can she unfreeze the Gargoyle Army, and keep them from being killed by the eternal bite?
There are new players revealed, and old acquaintances come back. One way or another, Cyrus is going down. Grace and her friends will stop at nothing to see to that - or die trying.
This series gets better as it goes, and as we get to learn more about the different types of paranormals and Grace's own heritage. Definitely worth picking up if you haven't tried them yet!

this could easily have been a finale so I have no idea what the actual end is gonna be like but I do know I'll probably be having a great time reading it
